Just eight days after scoring his first competitive goal for Paris Saint-Germain against Monaco in the Trophée des Champions, 18-year-old American phenom Timothy Weah has scored his first Ligue 1 goal for the club. PSG opened the 2018-19 league season against Caen and goals from Neymar and Adrien Rabiot had the home side cruising at the half.
Weah replaced Neymar in the 82nd minute and scored only seven minutes later after pressuring Caen goalkeeper Brice Samba into a mistake inside his own six-yard box.
It was not a great day for Samba at the office. PSG opened the scoring in the 10th minute after an errant pass from the keeper allowed Neymar to score his first goal of the season in the 10th minute.

25 minutes later, Rabiot scored PSG’s second after some selfless play from Angel Di Maria.

Weah then got his goal in the 89th minute thanks to more generous play from Samba.
