Christian Pulisic scored a spectacular goal vs. Germany on Saturday as the United States men’s national team drew Germany 1-1 in the first half.
The USMNT showed the world that they’re the real deal for 45 minutes and then immediately disproved that in the second half losing the game 3-1.
When things were still looking optimistic, AC Milan star Pulisic stunned the Germans with a beautiful solo goal in the 27th minute to take a 1-0 lead. Pulisic has been in top form for Milan and continued impressing with this goal.

This was Pulisic’s 27th goal for the USMNT and one of his best.
Later on Jamal Musiala had an excellent move to cut open the U.S. defense in the 39th minute and the silky display ended with Ilkay Gündogan finishing from close range.

When the halftime whistle sounded the Stars and Striped were looking confident, tied with a European powerhouse and well in the fight.
At halftime Luca de la Torre replaced Gio Reyna and everything immediately fell apart. The USMNT couldn’t hold onto the ball anymore and Germany pounced with two quick goals.

What once looked like a historic U.S. performance turned into a humbling home defeat in East Hartford, Connecticut.
USMNT head coach Gregg Berhalter will be on the hot seat with American fans after the poor second half display.
Fire Gregg.
