Zinedine Zidane's Son Imitated His Dad In The Worst Possible Way

It's said the apple does not fall far from the tree. In the case of Zinedine Zidane's son Luca Zidane, the apple fell very close to the tree, and on the way down it headbutted a Spaniard.

That's right, young Luca Zidane, a keeper in Real Madrid's youth system, has decided to follow in his famous father's footsteps by headbutting an opponent and getting tossed from a game. That Atletico Madrid youth player should really have known whose son he was dealing with, and kept a safe distance. It's just common sense.

We have to say, the lad's technique needs work. The other guy didn't even fall down. Truth be told, it was more of a head-nudge than a head-butt, but we'll take what we can get. The incident looked more like two bucks locking horns on a nature show than Zinedine Zidane's ruination of Marco Materazzi's sternum in the 2006 World Cup final.

Young Luca has a long way to go to reach the heights of his father's storied headbutting career, but with hard work and a lot of practice, we're confident he can rise to the level of the elite head-butters in soccer.

Zinedine must be a proud dad today, having set his son up for success in one of the most competitive head-butting arenas. To be the best you have to learn from the best, and Zinedine Zidane and Luca Zidane could easily become the Steph Curry and Dell Curry of head-butting people.
