Thousands of fans packed the Camille Chamoun Sports City Stadium to watch the likes of Ludovic Giuly, Simao Sabrosa, Gianluca Zambrotta, Edgar Davids, Roberto Carlos and Fernando Morientes try to overcome their aging bodies, but the star of the show was the Brazilian maestro.
In 77 minutes of action, Ronaldinho assisted on all three Barca goals in their 3-2 victory, and they’re all gorgeous, perfectly weighted manipulations of the ball. He’s still got it, and most YouTube commentators seem to be in agreement that he should take Andre Gomes’ spot in the Barcelona starting XI.
The Barcelona Legends, now almost certainly the best legendary squad on the planet at this point in time, next play against the Manchester United Legends on June 30 at the Camp Nou.
