The Seattle Sounders hosted Atlanta United in a much-anticipated matchup this past Sunday, and the two sides did not disappoint.

The match ended in Seattle's favor following a 2-1 win over the reigning MLS champions, but the major highlight was the first goal of the game.

Raúl Ruidíaz, making his first Sounders start since returning from Peru's deep Copa América run, showed Seattle fans just what they'd been missing with this incredible solo goal.

At the same time, Atletico Madrid and just about everyone else has announced the Frenchman’s exit from the Spanish club. Griezmann has had fans glued to their phones waiting for news to break about the star’s next team.

It was to no one's surprise that the Seattle Sounders were short-handed during this international break. What has made it worse is that injuries have started to pile up as well. All of this played into Saturday's match against the Vancouver Whitecaps, where only five of their usual starting XI featured. This meant that the Sounders had to rely heavily on their youth.
