Iceland are the toast of Euro 2016. They made it out of the group stage undefeated (only the third team to do that in their Euro debut) and beat Austria, a team that features one of the best young players in the world, Bayern Munich's David Alaba.

Iceland will face England on Monday to go to the quarterfinals, a match that Roy Hodgson's men will be heavily favored in by people who aren't fans of either team.

A great goal deserves a great call, and Jesus "Tecatito" Corona's goal against Venezuela Monday definitely deserved a great call.

Fortunately, a great call was provided by Univision announcer Pablo Ramirez Gomez.

The Middlesex Senior Charity Cup quarterfinal tie between Cockfosters (we are not making that team name up) and Hampton & Richmond Borough last Tuesday was notable for two reasons. Reason number one it ended in one of the longest penalty shootouts we have ever heard of, with Cockfosters winning 18-17 after 42 kicks. Reason number two is Martin Tyler was there.

Now, 42 is a number of spot-kicks bordering on the ridiculous, but that's not unheard of. What we really want to know is why a Sky Sports Premier League commentator was at a non-league game.

Here is the synopsis of what happened in a Costa Rican second division game: the announcer at this game was criticizing the ref so the ref stopped the game and had the broadcaster thrown out. Seriously, we did not know the ref even had the power to do this, but obviously this ref is not having any of our crap.

Bambino Pons once again proves that Spanish-speaking countries have the best announcers. This one sings "Eye of the Tiger" and it's awesome.
