Champions League Quarterfinals Goals - April 13, 2016

The final day of the Champions League quarterfinals kicked off today with Barcelona playing away at Atletico Madrid and Benfica hosting Bayern Munich. Barcelona were ahead 2-1 on aggregate heading into the match, but Madrid scored in the 36th minute to go ahead on aggregate due to the away goal tie-breaker.

Griezmann headed home a cross after Jordi Alba could not fully clear the ball. The Frenchman would add a penalty to take a 3-2 aggregate lead in the 88th minute after a handball by Andres Iniesta. The final score was 2-0.

Raul Jimenez's Goal Couldn't Stop Bayern Munich From Advancing In The Champions League

Portuguese powerhouse Benfica had a chance against Bayern Munich in the Champions League quarterfinals, going into the second leg down only 1-0 on aggregate. They had even more of a chance after Mexican striker Raul Jimenez put the hosts up 1-0 to tie the contest on aggregate.

Silvio Berlusconi's Itchy Trigger Finger Is Holding AC Milan Back

It's sometimes difficult to tell what Silvio Berlusconi wants with AC Milan.

It seems anytime the Rossoneri gain a foothold, Berlusconi arrives right on time with a tiny rock hammer and chips it away. And thus, that familiar refrain has again been trundled out as Sinisa Mihajlovic found himself on the end of Berlusconi's perpetual restlessness.

Karim Benzema Will Not Be Selected By France For Euro 2016

A crunch meeting between French national team manager Didier Deschamps and the president of the French Federation, Noel Le Graet, has yielded the decision to omit striker Karim Benzema from selection for the French squad at Euro 2016.

Cristiano Ronaldo's Heroics Were So Heroic Zinedine Zidane Ripped His Pants

Everyone thought Tuesday's Champions League match between Wolfsburg and Real Madrid was exciting: fans, journalists, players, etc. One man, though, stood above the rest in freaking out about the sheer excitement of Madrid's 3-0 victory that erased a 2-0 aggregate deficit and earned them a place in the semifinals: Zinedine Zidane.

Yes, that Zidane. The same Zidane that won everything there is to win in soccer. The same Zidane who could do things with a soccer ball we hadn't seen before and haven't seen since.

Watch These Bulgarian Players Fight In A Puddle

It isn't every day the phrase "Bulgarian puddle fight" appears on my google search history, but here we are.

Real Madrid Looked Like They Were Done. Cristiano Ronaldo Made Sure They Weren't

Sometimes we forget just how good Cristiano Ronaldo is. For example, after Wolfsburg's 2-0 win against Real Madrid last week in the first leg of the Champions League quarterfinals, we forgot how good Cristiano is.

Just how good is he?

Childhood friends Javier "Chicharito" Hernandez and Marco Fabian had a so-called Mexican Skype Duel, courtesy of the Bundesliga's official YouTube account. The 6 Most Famous Old Firm Matches

Celtic and Rangers – the so-called Old Firm – have produced some of the most notable – and notorious – derby matches in the history of world football.

The rivalry has as its underpinnings a complex cocktail of social, political and, yes, religious and ethnic issues that divide supporters of the two Glasgow clubs, creating a tension that has led to fierce battles both on and off the pitch.

Champions League Quarterfinals Goals - April 12, 2016

It has been a week and we miss Champions League very much. Thankfully, the second leg of the quarterfinals kicked off today with Real Madrid hosting Wolfsburg and PSG traveling to Manchester. With Real Madrid down, 2 - 0 to Wolfsburg, it was time for Cristiano Ronaldo. The superstar scored two goals in two minutes and completed his hat trick in the 77th minute to give Real Madrid the 3 - 2 lead on aggregate. Ronaldo scored in the 15th and 17th minutes in a stunning turn of events. Just like that, Madrid was tied with Wolfsburg and had all the momentum.
