Dear Mr. Abramovich ensteemed owner of Chelsea Football Club,

I feel the time has come to write you this letter regarding Chelsea Football Club, the club that you own, the club that I love, and the club that currently has me with a heavy heart.

Jose Mourinho may have his back against the wall. His Chelsea team experienced another disappointment in the midweek when they fell 5-4 in a penalty shootout to Stoke City in the League Cup. The dream of the quadruple is dead for the Blues….now they may face a relegation fight, but Chelsea vs. Liverpool goves them a chance to get some breathing room.

There are countless soccer competitions happening around the globe every year. These competitions have many formats and styles, but the main two are league and cup soccer competitions. Big leagues are where the big name players guarantee their paychecks and where their bosses get most of the revenue to fund those large paychecks. 

In most of these big league competitions, we usually see a certain monopoly in terms of titles. In Spain, we have the Real Madrid vs. Barcelona duel year after year deciding who takes home the gold, with occasional appearances by Atletico Madrid. 

The battle for the 2015/16 Premier League title is well and truly under way, and already we’ve seen fan protests over ticket prices, a new messiah and Diego Costa being suspended. Some things never change, but one this is certain: come May 15th, we’ll have a Premier League champion. It’s time to cast an eye over the pre-season English Premier League title contenders and see how their challenges are shaping up with just over a quarter of the season played.

Wayne Rooney and Cristiano Ronaldo formed one of the most devastating strike partnerships in recent memory. Together, they brought wild success to a Manchester United club where there was no alternative given the pressure and the demands of the fans and media. It's truly impressive what Rooney and Ronaldo accomplished as Red Devils. They should both get testimonials in our opinion, but the Wayne Rooney testimonial will have to do.
