Imagine traveling from London to catch your precious Arsenal squad take on Liverpool at Anfield, and when you get to your seat, you realize that you actually don’t have a seat.
That's what happened to James Vella, a loyal Arsenal fan who took to social media to express his frustrations after he spent £52 on half a seat with no leg room and limited viewing of the pitch. Here is his tweet:
My £52 'seat' at Anfield where you can only see 1 goalpost. Easily in the top 3 for worst away grounds I've been to. pic.twitter.com/SyBx4moziK— James Vella (@jvella7gooner) December 21, 2014
You can’t help but laugh a little bit. But seriously, who knows if Vella even saw Skrtel’s 97th minute equalizer for Liverpool. One thing that was shocking was Vella saying that Anfield was easily in his "top three" for worst away grounds. He tweeted saying “…it's a photo which resembles everything about Anfield. Terrible stadium, views and atmosphere.” There are some areas in Anfield that have restricted viewing, but the atmosphere at Anfield is just as good as anywhere. We can’t blame Vella though. All in all, it was probably a tough day for the Gooner.
