Current English commentator and legendary player Ian Wright said in a recent tweet that dealing with racism never gets any easier. The 56-year-old was senselessly attacked through Instagram messages from some absolute idiot. Wright then shared the screenshots of the horrible messages.
I know I'm not meant to look at them but these messages still hit me so hard man. This is a child!!! "You are a fucking monkey", "Cunt coon monkey nigger". Direct message to me from Patrick O'Brien on IG. This kid as a direct line into me & is able to send this without any worry. pic.twitter.com/6noGvmkb4u

The numbskull that made the racist comments has since deleted or made his account private as many people were ready to give the worthless scum a piece of their mind. More importantly, Wright received huge support from fellow footballers and followers after sharing the abuse. Racism has no place anywhere.
My god.. this is disgusting.
Who are his parents?
Who are his teachers?
So sorry you've had to endure this racist filth, Legend. https://t.co/LSAI34wu5m— Piers Morgan (@piersmorgan) May 11, 2020
I know it's easier said than done Ian but please focus on the people who know, love and admire you. Those who spout hatred who don't know you at all are not worth your energy. You are amazing!

It's uncertain if police will get involved to track down the racist idiot. One thing that is for certain is that this racist moron will definitely have a difficult time getting employed anywhere after this.
Wright later thanked everyone for the outpouring of support and love.
Thanks everyone for your kind and supportive messages. I'm normally better at ignoring it, but that one got to me. There has be consequences. Each one teach one!! Peace and love
