Relegation-threatened Reading got absolutely hammered by promotion hopefuls Fulham in the Championship on Tuesday — losing 7-0 at the Madejski to braces from Harry Wilson and Aleksandar Mitrović and further goals from Kenny Tete, Neeskens Kebano and Tosin Adarabioyo.
In a poetically fitting way, Reading's 33-year-old striker Andy Carroll also had two outrageous efforts ruled out for being clearly offside.
The former Newcastle, Liverpool and West Ham striker's first effort was reminiscent of his 2017 bicycle kick against Crystal Palace that won the Premier League's Goal of the Month, while the second was a piece of chest control followed by a venomous left-footed volley from nearly 25 yards out.
As the commentator said, probably the two greatest offside goals ever scored in one match.

Things do not look good for Reading.
