With the transfer of French star Antione Griezmann appearing imminent, Barcelona boss Josep Maria Bartomeu has denied any contact whatsoever.
This comes just days after reports of Atletico president Gil Marin claiming the club has known of some sort of transfer since March.
Other reports came out saying it was a done deal.
Atleti CEO Gill Martin:"I know exactly where he's going to play. I've known since March. In Barcelona,"
Barça spokesman Josep Vives : "Griezmann? We have statements from Mr. Gil Marín, we will not evaluate his words."It's funny how it seems both teams don't want Griezmann pic.twitter.com/xAaBD7lM56

While this could be one or two teams trying to sabotage one another, it could end up being one of the biggest miscommunications in sports since the wrong Brooks was almost traded in the NBA this past season.
Maybe Atletico was on the phone with a Little Ceasar’s when they thought they were speaking to Barcelona. The possibilities are endless.
The one thing that remains is that Griezmann wants out and Barca has seemed to be his preferred destination.
Barça isn’t one to shy away from a ransom and with the possibility of adding Griezmann to the mix, it is hard to imagine them hesitating.
The only thing that could possibly hinder the deal would be the potential return of Brazilian phenom Neymar.
Rumors have blossomed of the potential return of the 27-year-old forward and the reunion of arguably the baddest front in Europe with Messi and Suarez.
