Fort Lauderdale Strikers midfielder Victor Pagliari Giro, a.k.a. PC, scored the goal of the Florida Cup with this screaming free kick against Independiente Santa Fe.
Despite losing the match, 2-1, Fort Lauderdale rightly alerted SportsCenter to the goal, which made number seven on SportsCenter's top 10 plays. It figures he'd score the goal of his life in a game that didn't count for anything. Isn't that how it always works?

Even sweeter than that for PC was the fact that the goal marked his girlfriend's birthday, and he had promised her he would score for her special day.

We'd say that's a pretty good present. Neither are likely to forget this goal for a very long time. Many boyfriends have gotten their girlfriends way worse presents, although we suggest he het her an actual material thing to go with the goal, just to be safe.
