At the age of 19, Alex Hunter’s career is already approaching that of the journeyman. Back in FIFA 17, you selected a Premier League club to start with, but you were then loaned to a Championship side before returning to the EPL.
In FIFA 18, you started with your parent club before being offloaded to the Los Angeles Galaxy because of Michael the conniving agent. After grinding in MLS, you then signed with either Atletico Madrid, PSG or Bayern Munich.
It’s now being revealed that Hunter will appear for his fifth different club in FIFA 19, 13-time European champions Real Madrid.
The decision to send Hunter to Real Madrid seems to have everything to do with FIFA’s landing of the UEFA Champions League rights.
You’ll now be tasked with helping los Blancos secure an unprecedented fourth straight Champions League trophy — I think even Real Madrid fans would admit that that’s a bit much. We just hope Sergio Ramos doesn’t haze us.
And yes, if you were wondering, you can now buy Alex Hunter gear from the Real Madrid club store.
