Fresh off helping the USWNT book its ticket for Tokyo 2020 by scoring six goals at the CONCACAF Women’s Olympic Qualifying Championship, Lindsey Horan was back in her home state of Colorado on Wednesday night to watch the Denver Nuggets host the Los Angeles Lakers at the Pepsi Center.
You don’t need a reminder of Horan’s remarkable skill on the ball, but here’s a reminder — the goal she scored against Canada in the final was poetry in motion.

That ability seamlessly transitioned onto the basketball court last night as the 25-year-old nailed a free throw, although that’s a kicked ball violation, Lindsey.
Still, that’s better than Shaquille O'Neal! (Sorry, all my basketball references are from around 2001.)

Horan got to watch a great game that went into overtime before the Lakers pulled out a 120-116 victory. I only mention it because LeBron James did this:

Horan and the USWNT return to action in early March for the SheBelieves Cup. The U.S. will play against England (Mar. 5), Spain (Mar. 8) and Japan (Mar. 11) as preparation for the Olympic Games gets serious.
