Who says nobody in America likes soccer?!
Over 100,000 tickets were sold in less than 24 hours for fans to get a look at two of the world's most prestigious teams: Manchester United and Real Madrid.
The game on August 2nd is part of the Guinness International Champions Cup which will feature 8 top-tier teams from overseas. Other English and European teams in the tournament – along with the Red Devils and Los Blancos – are Manchester City, Liverpool, AC Milan, Inter, Roma, and Olympiakos.
The tournament will start 11 days after the World Cup final in Brazil across 12 US cities: Ann Arbor, Charlotte, Chicago, Dallas, Denver, Minneapolis, Miami, New York, Philadelphia, Phoenix, Pittsburgh, and Washington D.C.
The teams have been divided into two groups and will play a round-robin style tournament with the two group winners meeting August 4th for the Final in Sunlife stadium in Miami:
