Ah the life of a universal soccer star. Here we have Brazilian and Barcelona star Neymar playing a quick game of keepy uppy in his backyard...in nothing but his underwear.
The massive pool and sweet ping pong table wasn’t enough to keep Neymar busy, so the Selecao captain probably decided to shoot a quick video showing off his juggling skills and trick shot into a basketball hoop. And he might as well do it in his underwear, because Neymar can pretty much do whatever he wants.
Neymar has had some “underwear” issues in the past. During the 2014 World Cup, a photo of Neymar after the Selecao victory versus Cameroon sparked a FIFA investigation into why Neymar wasn’t wearing the right-sponsored brand of underwear.
Before the World Cup while playing for Barcelona, Neymar showed off his Lupo underwear at least five times during a match which caught the eye of the Brazilian Soccer Federation. They said they would hold workshops for players once they arrived to camp that would establish what they could and couldn’t wear during the tournament. Obviously Neymar didn’t care what they had to say or pay attention. Our guess is Lupo had no qualms paying whatever fine that was handed down to Neymar. To our knowledge there was never a fine put in place, meaning FIFA likely realized how stupid the headline “Brazilian superstar fined for wrong underwear” would have sounded.
