Ugh. What we would give to have that "cute kid charm" that can make almost anything happen - no matter how unlikely.
The kid in this video may have an extra dose of this charm because he apparently made the trade of the century after a recent Seattle Sounders game. As you can see in the video, Clint Dempsey gets a little hungry after the match and finds the child eating popcorn in the front row. So, naturally, Dempsey goes up and - using his celebrity status - he drops his hand into the kid’s popcorn. And the little kid goes, “WOW! Just because you are Clint Dempsey does not mean you can just eat my popcorn. You are going to have to give me something in return.” So what does Clint do? Well, of course, he strips off his jersey and hands it to the kid.
Like we said, trade of the century. Can you imagine an adult trying to pull this off? Neither can we (without seeming totally creepy, anyways). Check out the video below and have fun imagining the actual words exchanged between mini-fan and USMNT star.
