Over the years, we have been privileged enough to see some unforgettable Lionel Messi comebacks. 

The Argentinean star has lead both his club FC Barcelona and Argentina to some epic turnovers that nobody even dared to dream of.

There is something about comebacks. They're just so dramatic, so nerve wrecking.

There is simply nothing better than overcoming all the odds and a hefty deficit to make the taste of glory even sweeter.

Here is a compilation of Messi's greatest comebacks in his career playing for club and country.

Hugo Sánchez bicycle kick goals were out of this world. Currently everyone's buzzing about Cristiano Ronaldo scoring a marvelous bicycle kick goal against Juventus in the UCL quarterfinals, and it was about time, for Ronaldo had repeatedly tried to score via a bicycle kick with little success and quite a bit of internet trolling.

However, Real Madrid fans are no strangers to wonderful bicycle kick goals.

Mario Mandzukic is reportedly in good health heading into the Champions League quarterfinal clash between Juventus and Real Madrid. That's good news for Juve, as it was a Mandzukic bicycle kick in last year's UCL final that was the lone bright spot for the Italian side.

A few days ago, Mexico manager Juan Carlos Osorio was lamenting Croatia’s decision to send Luka Modric and Marcelo Brozovic back to Europe ahead of the two nations’ meeting on Tuesday night. One minute you’re the Magic Johnson of footballers, the next some 17-year-old Londoner is vigorously nutmegging you to no end in every training session. That, apparently, is the situation facing Christian Pulisic with the emergence of younger-than-thou Jadon Sancho at Dortmund.
