FIFA 19 Announces Franchise-First Modes For Kick-Off

We told you about some of the rumors surrounding the next edition of the FIFA video game franchise, and it turns out some of those rumors are indeed going to be a part of the new game. EA Sports dropped a video Thursday that shows all of the FIFA 19 new modes for "Kick-Off."

FIFA 19’s The Journey Has Alex Hunter Transferring To Real Madrid

At the age of 19, Alex Hunter’s career is already approaching that of the journeyman. Back in FIFA 17, you selected a Premier League club to start with, but you were then loaned to a Championship side before returning to the EPL.

In FIFA 18, you started with your parent club before being offloaded to the Los Angeles Galaxy because of Michael the conniving agent. After grinding in MLS, you then signed with either Atletico Madrid, PSG or Bayern Munich.

Saudi Arabia’s ‘Msdossary’ Wins $250K As FIFA eWorld Cup Winner

Mosaad Aldossary, the Saud Arabian better known as “Msdossary,” is the world’s best FIFA 18 player. Better yet, after a 4-0 aggregate victory in the grand final, Msdossary is taking home a quarter of a million dollars in FIFA eWorld Cup prize money.

Msdossary defeated Stefano Pinna (who goes by the unoriginal avatar of “StefanoPinna”) 2-0 in each leg of the final. Msdossary was the Xbox One champion while StefanoPinna won the PlayStation 4 division.

Rumors Of A FIFA Street Mode In FIFA 19 Have Broken The Internet

FIFA 19 is just eight weeks from being released (Sept. 28), and the hype is starting to build. EA Sports managed to win the licence for the Champions League and Europa League over from the folks at Konami and PES, so already FIFA 19 has a point on the board over its rivals.

But, if rumors are to be believed, that’s not all that will be different about FIFA 19 this year.

FIFA 18 Actually Nailed Its World Cup Predictions

In the age of sophisticated computer models and immense libraries of statistical data, a variety of big banking firms and statistical aggregation companies tried their hand at predicting the winner for this year’s World Cup. Goldman Sachs, UBS, ING, Macquarie Bank and FiveThirtyEight, all known for their statistical prowess, crunched some numbers and spat out a champion.

FIFA 19 Is Collateral Damage From Ronaldo’s Juventus Move

Back in June we showed you the new FIFA 19 cover for this year’s edition. There are a few different versions of the FIFA video game depending upon how much extra money you want to pay for a few small annual updates, but all three covers have one thing in common: Cristiano Ronaldo. In a Real Madrid uniform.

There’s one small problem: Ronaldo doesn’t play for Real Madrid anymore.

FIFA 19 Release Date Will Be Here Sooner Than You Think

It’s a bit of a holiday around the world these days, the date on which the world’s greatest sport gets a new installment from the sport’s greatest video game franchise. The FIFA 19 release date is one that should be jotted down onto your calendar and probably marked off as a day you want to call in sick.

FIFA 19 Cover Is Missing Something Important

Perhaps more than any other video game, the cover boy for the FIFA video game franchise is a symbol of who has made it on the world stage. While EA Sports often adds region-specific secondary or even tertiary figures, there is typically just one primary player n. The FIFA 19 cover bucks that trend.

For the latest installment in the preeminent footballing franchise, EA Sports has opted for two of the world’s three best players to grace the FIFA 19 cover.

Dax McCarty: The Chicago Fire Are Still Favorites For The World Cup

It was a wild ride for American midfielder Dax McCarty in 2017. In January, McCarty was recalled by the national team for the first time since 2011, but he was subsequently shocked to learn that after five and a half seasons with the New York Red Bulls, he’d been dealt to the Chicago Fire before the start of the new campaign.

McCarty then helped the USMNT triumph at the Gold Cup, starting in two group stage games and appearing in five games overall, including a late substitute appearance in the final against Jamaica.

FIFA 19 Trailer: IT’S GOT THE CHAMPIONS LEAGUE

The official FIFA 19 reveal trailer dropped on Saturday with the game slated for a worldwide release on September 28, 2018. The big news is that Cristiano Ronaldo will reprise his role as cover star, and FIFA 19 HAS ADDED THE UEFA CHAMPIONS LEAGUE.
