We all love to laugh at players who miss the easiest goals. I mean, they are paid to play well and score goals, right? It’s all fun and games until it’s one of us that misses the easiest chance. For this poor lad, well, misses don’t come much worse than this.

The weekend is usually a time for people to relax and unwind from school or work. All the big soccer games are on the weekend, so you have all of Saturday and Sunday to get your fix in. But the thing that so many people look forward to is their Sunday league soccer match. 

One of the most annoying things in soccer is when you get subbed off, especially when you feel like you still have a lot left in the tank. However, in recent years we have seen managers haul off players before halftime, or even just after substituting them on the field (Emmanuel Eboue against Wigan in 2008, anyone?). 

With just a few weeks remaining in the 2017-18 Premier League season, we are quickly winding down towards one of the most anticlimactic final days of all-time. If Tottenham collapse, Chelsea might yet play themselves into the top four, and Southampton could still manage to avoid the drop — just look at what Newcastle have accomplished over the last four games.
