Marsch Madness: Ex-Leeds manager spotted in crowd during Princeton’s Sweet 16 game

Many U.S. Soccer fans learned that American manager and ex-Leeds United boss Jesse Marsch attended Ivy League college Princeton. Fans discovered this after Marsch was spotted in the crowd of Princeton’s March Madness game against Creighton Friday night.

Marsch played for Princeton’s soccer team from 1992 to 1995 and was an All-American.

After being let go as Leeds’ manager on Feb. 6, the American returned to the States to take in some college hoops on Friday at the KFC Yum! Center in Louisville, Kentucky. Yes, that is the real name of the arena.

Christian Pulisic scores one and sets up four of USMNT’s seven goals vs. Grenada

Christian Pulisic was unstoppable on Friday night during the USMNT’s 7-1 Concacaf Nations League victory vs. Grenada as he scored one and helped set up four others.

The U.S. expectedly dominated Grenada (ranked 173rd in the world) at Kirani James Athletic Stadium in the Caribbean island’s capital. While the victory was routine and nothing to brag about, it’s good to see U.S. players playing with confidence.

Jürgen Klinsmann blows 2-0 lead during his first game in charge of South Korea’s national team

Former United States men’s national team manager Jürgen Klinsmann coached his first game for South Korea on Friday as the Taeguk Warriors drew Colombia 2-2.

Klinsmann was named the new manager of South Korea on Feb. 27. Friday, he faced his first test which was a friendly match against Colombia in front of the home crowd in Ulsan, South Korea.

NWSL players in disbelief over how bad some of their FIFA 23 characters look

The National Women’s Soccer League getting added to EA Sports’ FIFA video game series felt too good to be true. The long overdue addition of the American league to the game took place on March 15. 

It’s been a week since the update and players aren’t thrilled about how poorly they look in the game. Several players have taken to Twitter to show off just how bad the animations turned out.

The issues range from some player appearing much whiter in the game than in real life to being bald. Yikes EA.
