It feels like Arsenal and Alexis Sanchez and Manchester United and Henrikh Mkhitaryan have been dancing around each other for ages. Really, it has only been a week or two. Still. What a drain.
Well, today the dance came to an end and Arsenal and Manchester United ended up with different partners than they had when they started.
Manchester United ended up with Sanchez, a dynamic 29-year-old Chilean who has been Arsenal's best player for quite some time.

Arsenal ended up with Henrikh Mkhitaryan, a 29-year-old Armenian attacking midfielder who was very good for Borussia Dortmund a few years ago but has fallen out of favor with Jose Mourinho.

Arsenal will be hoping Mkhitaryan can rediscover his Dortmund form and help the Gunners climb out of sixth place into the top four. Manchester United will be hoping Sanchez can spark the offense, make others around him better and perhaps even help United make a run at Manchester City. At least keep them in second place.
