And you thought Mexico's summer coudn't get any worse.
Tuesday, in a Gold Cup warm-up against Honduras, Mexico forward Javier "Chicharito" Hernandez went down with a broken collarbone.
Hernandez will be out for about four weeks and will probably miss the whole Gold Cup.
Luckily, at least for Chicharito, this shouldn't affect his offseason, as he will likely be back to match fitness near the beginning of the European season, and MLS teams will probably still be willing to pay him lots of money to play for them.
