Paul Pogba might be in the Blaugrana in two seasons.
According to Italian newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, representatives from Barcelona and Juventus sat down to lunch and hammered out a deal to transfer the 22-year-old midfielder from the Champions League runner-ups to the champs.
Because Barcelona are under a trensfer ban, the move would take place next summer, Pogba commanding a fee of $112 million.
If this turns out to be true and Barcelona don't lose any major pieces during the next few transfer windows, Pogba, considered by many to be the best box-to-box midfielder in the world, could combine with Lionel Messi, Neymar Jr., and Luis Suarez, considered the best forward line in the world, to make one of the best club teams, if not the best, in the world.
Basically, Pogba, Messi, Neymar and Suarez are going to make opposing defenses look like the Nazis in that face-melting scene in Raiders of the Lost Ark.
That is, of course, if this deal actually goes through. Juventus's president said that Juventus in fact rejected Barcelona's offer, so who knows what's going to happen.
This, however, is the most exciting rumor because of its exciting potential. The deal is not finalized, but kiss goodbye to the Champions League if it happens, because we will have to rename it "Barcelona and friends."
