Please God, don’t let the American hype train destroy Christian Pulisic. He just became the youngest player ever to score two goals in the Bundesliga. Not the youngest American, the youngest in general. Not bad for a 17-year-old born in Hershey, Pennsylvania.
17 years, 7 months, 5 days - @cpulisic_10 is the youngest BL player to score 2 goals in Germany's top flight. Youth. #VfBBVB @BVB

His second, record-breaking goal came against Stuttgart.
It wasn’t nearly as beautiful of a goal as his first, which came at the end of a slick Borussia Dortmund passing move.
There is no doubt in my mind that Pulisic is the best prospect that the United States has; he might already be it’s most gifted player, at any level, but again let’s be wary of the hype train.
As a fan of the United States, I feel fortunate that Pulisic is playing for Borussia Dortmund. He is going to be able to develop in a way that so many American players cannot: as a professional and not a collegiate athlete. Further more, Pulisic isn’t at some second tier club, he is earning starts for arguably the fourth best team in the world.
Exciting times.
