Jonathan dos Santos has had a quiet season so far for Villarreal, but there was nothing quiet about the goal he scored Thursday in the Europa league against Czech club Viktoria Plzen.
I mean, look at this beauty. This wasn't a normal cross that happened to go in. He meant to do that, and he knew exacly what he was doing, completely baffling the keeper in the process.

Villarreal and Viktoria Plzen tied, 3-3, with goals by Cedric Bukambu and Bruno for Villarreal (in addition to dos Santos) and goals by Daniel Kolar, Jan Kovarik and Tomas Horava.
Horava's goal came in the 90th minute and Bruno's goal came in extra time.
Villarreal were able to advance to the knockout stage of the Europa League after finishing second in Group E with 13 points, two points behind Rapid Vienna. They sit fifth in the La Liga table, which would qualify them for the Europa League next year too.
Jonathan dos Santos plays in central midfield for Villarreal. His older brother, Giovani, plays for MLS club LA Galaxy. They're teammates on the Mexican national team.
Dos Santos has yet to score for Villarreal in La Liga this season, in fact his goal against Plzen was his first of the season in 12 appearances for Villarreal.
But what a first goal it was.
