We bring you an alarming story from Middlesbrough and QPR's Championship clash on Sunday. Middlesbrough won 3-0, but one Middlesbrough fan was not on his best behavior, reportedly urinating in the QPR goalkeeper's water bottle. The act was caught on video and shared on social media.
Why? Why would a person do that? There are more effective and legal ways to mess with an opposing goalkeeper's head, and also surely there are bathrooms in the stadium! It simply doesn't add up! Actually it does add up because booze.
The alleged pee pee bandit was arrested at the stadium. The police shared this statement on Twitter following the incident:
I’ve been asked by a few followers and can confirm the so called @Boro fan who urinated in the @QPRFC goalie bottle was arrested by colleagues from @MPSFootballUnit disgusting act and I will do all I can to remove him from attending Boro games again I’m sure @FSF_FairCop agrees
