Porto were mostly a dud Wednesday, drawing 1-1 with beatable Rio Ave side in the Premeira Liga, but at least they got this Hector Herrera golazo to soften the disappointment.

Volleys like that don't come around every day. Herrera hasn't been getting as much playing time this year as he normally does, ostensibly because of his busy summer schedules, but his extended relaxation period appears to be at an end. If that's the case, it can only mean good things for Porto, as Herrera's one of the better creative midfielders in the Premeira Liga.
I think HH is nearing his best form. We’ll see if the trend continues.

Porto now sit third in the Premeira Liga table, four points behind first-place Sporting CP and tied on points with second-place Benfica (they're behind by 10 in goal differential). Herrera's Mexico national team teammates Miguel Layun and Tecatito Corona also started the game for Porto.
