I wonder what was going through the mind of ADO goal keeper Martin Hansen before his teammate swung in a free kick in the 95th minute of ADO vs PSV. Was he thinking of glory? Maybe he was just hoping dearly that the ball wouldn’t fly anywhere close to him — actually scratch that. There is absolutely no way Hansen does what you are about to witness if he is thinking, “Oh God, please just not me.”

Martin Hansen just scored the front runner for the goal of the year, and he did it in stoppage time to tie the game, as a goal keeper…with a flying back heel. 

This might just be the pinnacle of human cinema. Cristiano Ronaldo was dropped into Grand Theft Auto 5 and proceeded to do GTA 5 stuff. 

If you don't know what qualifies as "GTA 5 stuff," look no further than the part of the video in which Ronaldo hits the guy off the motorcycle with a soccer ball and the guy gets run over.

Rightly or wrongly, the English are stereotyped for their politeness. In the case of Doncaster Rovers vs. Bury, however, that stereotype came to life magically.

In soccer, when a player gets injured it's considered good manners to kick the ball out of bounds so the player can get looked at by the training staff. The other team then throws the ball in and kicks it to the goalie of the team that kicked the ball out of bounds originally, and play resumes again.

Philippe Coutinho seems to defy the laws of physics whenever he scores. That might not make sense if he was another player, but he’s not; he’s Philippe Coutinho: the man who cannot score an average goal. 

Honestly, last year he made a habit of scoring from the other side of nowhere, and this year he’s just doing more of the glorious same.  

First, it must be said that it's hard to give Petr Cech too hard a time about the thumping he took in Arsenal's season opener against West Brom. Despite the fact that the newly-minted Gunner gave up two pedestrian goals against West Brom, the former Chelsea striker does have more clean sheets in Premier League openers than any other keeper.

We always suspected something was up with Xabi Alonso. His passing was too good; his vision is too good for a normal human.

And now we see that we were correct in our assumptions, with this Vine as proof: Xabi Alonso is a ghost. Clearly, Xabi starts to disappear here, proving that he is a ghost and can communicate with the supernatural world. His pinpoint lobs are so precise because other ghosts are carrying them to their destinations. The truth has come out.

This poor guy. 

We feel bad for him, we really do, but that doesn't stop us from laughing as we watch this video over and over and over again. It really has everything you could want in an own-goal. He should be proud.

Were we on this guy's team, we couldn't even be mad, this goal was so funny.

A few months ago, Crystal Dunn of the Washington Spirit was left off of the USWNT, and she hasn’t let anyone forget about it since. She currently is the highest scorer in the NWSl with 12 goals in 14 games, and she showed she thoroughly deserved that being in that position with her performance against the Houston Dash this past weekend. 

Jamie Carragher and Gary Neville were the best of enemies when they played for Liverpool and Manchester United, respectively.

Now, though, they've been forced to team up in FIFA 16 Ultimate Team. It was, uh, interesting. 

Can the next one please be Arsene Wenger and Jose Mourinho trying to coexist?
