Futsal Player Gets Booked For Taking A Selfie With Zinedine Zidane

What would you do if you found yourself in a futsal match with Zinedine Zidane? Beg for mercy? Pee your pants? Faint?

One player who found himself in that exact situation decided the occasion warranted a selfie with the French legend. Zidane was happy to oblige, but the referee did not take kindly to the picture, and booked the offender.

We assume the card was yellow because of the player's reaction to it. The card doesn't appear to be yellow in the video.

This Magic Trick Takes Shooting And Does Something Completely Different

Stuart Edge might be the corniest name I have heard in years, but he sure does know how to pull off a magic trick.

It starts off with the usual take-a-card-any-card and then evolves into something involving a soccer ball, a kick, and Real Salt Lake’s Luke Mulholland. It makes sense in the end, except it kind of doesn’t, but your eye’s will be happy.

In 1997 This Man Scored The Most Powerful Goal Of All Time

If you have been watching soccer highlights since the beginning of YouTube, chances are you have seen this goal.

It’s a classic, the kind of goal that, when you first see it, makes you understand that so much more is possible on the pitch that you may have thought.

That was Clarence Seedorf scoring for Real Madrid against Atletico Madrid back in 1997, and it just might be the trademark goal of his career.

Wesley Sneijder Is A Legend That Half The World Doesn’t Know

AC Siena was beating Internazionale Milan 3-2 in 2010. Inter would go on to win the treble that year; beating Barcelona along the way with one of the most classic “Mourinho parks the bus” defensive efforts of all time. Siena, on the other hand, would be relegated. An upset was on hand, but Wesley Sneijder was yet to have his final say.

Juventus Has Captured The Class Of Pirlo In This Good-Bye Video

The internet is flooded with highlight videos. A player simply has to be young, talented, and make a couple cool plays in a season for someone to string those plays together in iMovie, throw some banal techno music over it, and produce one of them. I say this like I hate them, and in many ways I do, but I also cannot deny that watching these videos can be about as addicting as it gets.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic's Opinion On The FIFA Scandal

TMZ asked Zlatan his thoughts on the FIFA scandal, and it went about as well as you'd expect.

"I don't know. It's not my area. I play soccer," Zlatan said.

Hear that? ZLATAN CALLED IT SOCCER. This is further proof that America is taking over the game. It's no longer "football." It's "soccer." Zlatan said so.

Now that one of the best players in the world called it soccer, the can be no stopping it. Get used to soccer, rest of the world.

This NBA Star Has Some Serious Freestyle Skills

Dennis Schroder (a.k.a. "German Rondo") of the Atlanta Hawks is a basketball player, and you would think that means he is not very good with his feet, but that couldn’t be further from the truth.

Check him out performing some fancy freestyle skills on a basketball court before nodding the ball through the net. He makes it look easy.

It must be the German in him.

Watch England's Manager's Amazing Response To Laura Bassett's Own Goal

This is what leadership is.

England manager Mark Sampson gave a touching interview about Laura Bassett's own-goal and England's heartbreaking exit from the Women's World Cup.

Sampson called Bassett a hero for her play throughout the World Cup and said she doesn't deserve the World Cup ending that she got.

VIDEO: Gareth Bale Nets Basketball Hoop Trick Shot

Gareth Bale is really happy that Sony Mobile are sponsoring the Champions League.

In a new video, he's shown giving his support for Sony Mobile as the new Champions League sponsors before hitting a trick shot with a basketball (he kicked it, obviously).

Why he did this, we can only speculate. The shot was cool, though.
