The devastating attack on Nice, France that resulted in the tragic loss of 85 people is still being painfully processed in the country’s fifth most populous city. Local club OGC Nice have now released a beautiful, touching kit paying homage to those victims whose lives were appallingly cut short on France's Bastille Day.

The Ligue 1 club released the following image of the shirt through their official Twitter page:

Reading Football Club have gone above and beyond with the term "kit launch". Matter of fact, they've gone to (extremely Star Trek voice) Space: the final frontier.

You may remember that we previously wrote about CD Deportivo Leganes and their rather bizarre scratch-and-sniff kit. Now, you're probably thinking that it couldn't get any weirder than that. We have something to show you. 

See, for whatever reason, Spanish lower-league clubs seem to be in some sort of intense competition over who can make the most eye-punishing travesty of a kit. We've made fun of plenty of kits over the years, from all across the world. But the Spanish, well, they're just on another level. 

RB Leipzig is a German club newly-promoted to the German Bundesliga. Red Bull Salzburg is an Austrian club that won the Austrian Bundesliga this season.

They are not the same team.

Looking at their jerseys, though, one could be forgiven for thinking they are. 

Nike, apparently, made the jerseys for RB Leipzig and Red Bull Salzburg and made them nearly identical. The crest is slightly different (because the team names are different).

The US women’s national team will take to the pitch in Rio this summer wearing a distinctly different home kit from the ones debuted with the new US Soccer badge earlier this year. 

This kit was designed specifically for use in the Olympics because of an Olympic charter that mandates the absence of federation crests. Instead, the USA’s controversial new ‘Captain America’ crest will be replaced with simple “USA” lettering.

After playing in nearly 400 matches for Barcelona with the numbers two, six or 22 on his back, Dani Alves has elected to wear the number 23 at Juventus in honor of NBA star LeBron James.

LeBron just recently captured his third NBA championship, and his first since returning to play with the Cleveland Cavaliers. Alves is hoping to emulate LeBron’s ability to accept a challenge in a new environment and lead his team to glory.

The Brazilian defender completed his move to Juve from Barcelona on Monday and spoke at his introductory news conference regarding the new number.

If you happened to watch Switzerland grind out a 0-0 draw with France on Sunday, we're sorry. We're so very, very sorry. 

It was a dull game, a fact which becomes all the more prevalent when you consider the fact most of the post-game analysis has been regarding the material of the Swiss team's Puma-produced jerseys.

No disrespect to Atletico Madrid, who deservedly bounced Barca in the quarterfinals, but the Blaugrana's attack was led by three of the five best forwards in the world, and every player in their squad (excluding goalkeeper) is either top five in the word at his position or at least in the conversation.

Spanish fourth-division side C.D. Palencia just unveiled their new uniform, and trust us when we say it includes the ugliest jersey of all time.
