A Ball Broke This Old Couple’s Window. When They Saw Who Did It They Didn’t Know How To React

There’s something charming about a local soccer match. The stands are somewhat full. Everyone knows a good amount of everyone else. The sun is shining. Everyone’s hanging out — a game of soccer might break out sooner rather than later. And that’s no indictment to the quality of the teams in this next video. It just seems like they are participating in a very laid back game. Why do I think that, you ask? Well, considering at one point the soccer ball breaks a window, and no one, not even the couple who owns the window, makes a fuss about it, “laid back” is nothing if not appropriate.

He Scored The MLS Goal Of The Year 3 Hours After Getting Off An International Flight.

On Wednesday night, Sebastian Giovinco scored the MLS goal of the year. It was an incisive solo run that left several defenders in his wake. The crowd’s roar rose in unison with his advanced on goal. By the time his left-footed shot from a difficult angle glided inside the far post, everyone in the stadium knew they had just witness an all time great goal. It might even be the greatest Toronto FC goal of all time.

Sebastian Giovinco Scores Messi Like Goal

It was quite the day for the city of Toronto yesterday. First, the Blue Jays clinched a spot in the ALCS after a wild game vs the Texas Rangers and then a Sebastian Giovinco goal for Toronto FC sent the club to their first ever playoff apperance. As the rapper Drake would say, "what a time to be alive!" Giovinco's goal for Toronto reminded us, and probably anyone who watched it, of a little Argentine that plays his futbol over the pond at Barcelona. Yes we're obviously talking about Lionel Messi, and yes Giovinco's goal mimics the likes of La Pulga.

The Keeper Went To Kick The Ball As Usual. He Was Crushed By What He Ended Up Doing.

This is a classic own goal, and it’s really unfortunate that that’s a thing. I can’t tell you how many times I have seen a goalkeeper go to clear a back pass only to find the ball hopping just above their foot. A piece of grass or turf is the culprit, and that almost makes it worse.

It just takes an unbelievable amount of bad luck for a kicked-up lump of grass to land in a spot where it could pop a ball in to the air. If the universe could talk, it would whisper “f*** you” every time it happens.

This Fan Brawl At USA Vs. Mexico Lived Up To The Hype

Great teams raise their games when the stakes are highest. So do great fanbases. So do great fighters. So do members of great fanbases who are also great fighters, or at least willing fighters.

This is what happened Saturday in the Rose Bowl during the USA vs. Mexico match. The game itself was one of the most exciting clashes in recent memory. It was made even more exciting for the select few fans who got to be near/participate in this brawl.

He Thought He Was Getting Away With Robbery. But Instead He Ran Into A Pro Footballer.

Shoplifters have probably the easiest job in the robbery business, and judging by the age of the kid in this next video, this is probably true to an even higher degree. This kid can’t be more than 14 years old. He was probably trying to steal a Snickers; the debt to society he owed would have been worth its weight in hunger and post-satisfaction self-loathing. Of course, that didn’t stop things from going terribly wrong for the kid.

He Had The Whole Net To Aim For, But Somehow The Keeper Saved His Shot…Twice.

For a moment, Gonzalo Bueno on the Uruguayan U20 national team saw his dreams laid out in front of him. He got on the end of a perfect pass, played it brilliantly, got past a defender and a goalkeeper without even touching the ball. The net was gaping and it must have felt like something out of a childhood fantasy. Perhaps that thought was too mesmerizing, because instead of scoring, he made a fool of himself.

He Won One Of The Biggest Awards In Soccer. His Son Was Not Impressed

Cristiano Ronaldo should be thrilled. He won his fourth European Golden Shoe, awarded to the leading scorer in all of Euope's domestic leagues.

He might not be thrilled, though, because there was one member of the audience who couldn't care less what he won: his son.

Cristiano Ronaldo's son flipped the bird at his dad during Cristiano's acceptance speech. Though the gesture was quickly twarted, the cameras caught the devious act.

Ronaldo's son might be in for a time-out.

Cristiano Ronaldo's Son Cannot Pronounce His Own Name

Many small children, like Cristiano Ronaldo's son, as a consequence of having been able to talk for only a very short time, have speech impediments. The vast majority of these children grow out of it (and if they don't there is nothing wrong with that) and grow up to be adults whose parents show them videos of them trying to talk as a small child and everybody has a good laugh.

One such occasion occurred recently in Cristiano Ronaldo's life. A leaked portion of his new documentary shows his son, Cristiano Jr., trying, and struggling, to say his own name at his father's request.

Mexican Fans Had A Donald Trump Pinata At The Game Saturday

Donald Trump is in the media a lot, and a lot of those times he's in the media because of something he said about Mexico/Mexican people/immigration that lots of people found offensive.

Because of this, Mexican TV station TV Azteca made a commercial with Donald Trump to pump up fans for the CONCACAF Cup final last Saturday.
